How your training works
Your path through training at the Neumühle Resort
1st year of apprenticeship - Arrive & discover
You will get to know all departments of our hotel – from reception to housekeeping to the kitchen. You will find out where your strengths lie and gain a comprehensive overview of the processes in the 5-star hotel industry.
2nd year of apprenticeship - Deepening & responsibility
Now it’s time to get down to business: you take on your own areas of responsibility, look after guests independently and deepen your specialist knowledge in your chosen area. Internal training courses and external seminars will accompany you.
3rd year of apprenticeship - Perfection & perspective
You will work independently, prepare for your final exam and plan your future together with us. Whether you want to take over at the Neumühle or make the leap into the big hotel world – we will accompany you.
Your path through training:
Your trainers and contact persons will accompany you throughout the entire period and will be on hand with help and advice to make you a valuable and highly valued team member of our 5-star wellness hotel.

Do I need a specific school-leaving qualification?
A good secondary school leaving certificate is sufficient for most of our apprenticeships. Much more important to us than grades are your motivation, your enjoyment of working with people and your interest in the hotel industry.
Can I do an internship before the apprenticeship?
By all means! We offer student internships and taster days. This way you can get to know us and find out whether the hotel industry suits you. Just get in touch with us.
Is there staff accommodation?
Unfortunately not at the moment! However, we will help you find accommodation as best we can. If you have a driver's license, ideal! The Neumühle is a little out of the way, secluded in the countryside.
What are the working hours like?
In the hotel industry, you also work at weekends and on public holidays - that's part of the job. But you have time off during the week. We pay attention to fair duty rosters and sufficient recovery time.
Will I be taken on after my training?
We train to take over. If you are motivated and a good fit for us, your chances of being taken on are very good. Many of our managers started with us as trainees.
