Detour on the Way to Neumühle
Dear guests, please note the following information!
Due to several road construction projects in the Hammelburg, Diebach, and Wartmannsroth areas, there may currently be delays when traveling to Neumühle. Please allow for a little extra travel time and note the following information:
We generally recommend that you plan your trip using Google Maps, as it takes into account all road closures and current traffic conditions. The only exception is Diebach itself, where local road closures are not currently factored into Google Maps. Please follow Detour 3 here and the signs for Neumühle toward Windheim; once you reach Windheim, turn left onto Diebacher Straße. The dead-end sign does NOT apply to Neumühle.
Our recommendations based on your direction of travel:
Coming from the A7 via Hammelburg or from Schweinfurt / Bad Kissingen:
- It is generally still possible to reach the destination via Hammelburg/Diebach; however, due to construction zones, local detours, and additional traffic lights, there may be longer wait times. Depending on the day’s traffic, taking detours via regional roads may be faster than driving through Hammelburg.
- For all guests arriving via the A7 or B27, we recommend driving through Obereschenbach or Untereschenbach, respectively, and using a connecting road to bypass the construction zone entirely; after crossing the bridge in Diebach, continue straight past the sports field and then turn left toward Neumühle
- If you are traveling via Hammelburg and Diebach, Diebacher Straße in Diebach itself is closed starting at Häfner Straße, and a detour via Windheim (follow U3 and the signs to Neumühle) is posted; the dead-end sign for Windheim does NOT apply to Neumühle
Coming from Gemünden, Frankfurt, or Karlstadt on the A3:
- We recommend taking the B 27 via Obereschenbach or Untereschenbach. Once you’ve crossed the bridge in Diebach, continue straight ahead, passing the sports field, toward Neumühle.
- If you are traveling via Schönau, Gräfendorf, and Waizenbach, please do not be confused by a dead-end sign; this applies to the route continuing on to Hammelburg—Neumühle is accessible.
Since traffic routing is currently being adjusted on short notice in some cases, we recommend checking the current traffic conditions right before you leave.
